Fortunately it is not too late. There are many ways to solve the climate crisis.
If you think the global warming the climate will be limited to 1.5 degrees, you believe in fairy tales and should brush up on your math. With climate projects alone can not achieve this, a systemic change is needed. It's true, diplomatically speaking, the climate a top performance, congratulations. But do not believe that it is above all in the real world still manage to hold below 1.5 degrees global warming. There is no other choice then by all means go to the fight against global warming and fossil era as quickly as possible to say goodbye. And let's not rely on so-called experts on climate plans that encourage climate projects worldwide.
So a better environment begins with yourself. What we should do is a coherent and complete transition to a social ecological economy and society in all its aspects: energy, water, food, mobility, money, work, housing, travel, education, democracy, information, biodiversity, safety, knowledge , income, health, social security, culture. And everywhere, also with us in the lowlands. That is our first responsibility.
It is nonsensical and unworkable to isolate 'climate' or 'development' from society. Almost all the systems that we be confident for a good life in crisis, culminating in a climate crisis. So we all have to tackle those systems and sustainability, while also addressing how they interact and reinforce. That's still a big luck: the imperative approach to all our crises worldwide one big shout out to work.
A better world is always possible, even on a smaller land area, but without a systemic approach never succeeds. It will not be easy. We have to change and we mean everyone. As individuals, the most powerful weapon we have in this fight is the ability to control our own ecological footprint and do not forget, we as individuals numbering in the billions. Some of things we can do include:
• Recycling/Reducing/Reusing • Composting • Using Alternative Energy • Becoming Energy Efficient • Using Public Transportation More Often • Consuming Less Meat • Planting Trees • Buying Products Locally • ...
Furthermore, these actions will provide several benefits to your health and will even save you money.
More importantly, it will help millions of people around the world who are, or will soon be, facing the dire consequences of climate change.
